Video: Cassandra Internals Presentation from Cassandra SF 2011

By Lynn Bender -  August 4, 2011 | 0 Comments

Gary Dusbabek, a system architect at Rackspace, was asked to resurrect and update his talk from the 2010 Cassandra Summit. He graciously accepted. Unlike the previous year, Gary began his talk with questions, so that he could better tune the talk to the attendees.

Before diving into internals, Gary talks about how to contribute to the Cassandra project — even if you are a newcomer. Gary wraps up by sharing his reflections on Cassandra’s progress and changes in the last year.

If you are interested in Cassandra’s architecture, this is a great talk. The slides are available here, and the video is below. You can also view other slides and videos from Cassandra SF 2011 here.
