New releases of Apache Cassandra, DataStax Community, and DataStax Enterprise now available!

• Apache Cassandra 1.0.5
• DataStax Community Server 1.0.5
• DataStax Enterprise Server 1.0.1

All fixes/updates from the initial 1.0 releases of the above software can be found in the CHANGES.txt file that is in the base install directory.

One enhancement worth calling out is that the Cassandra Query Language (CQL) utility is now bundled as part of DataStax Community and Enterprise editions and no longer requires a separate download. Plus, there are some nice enhancements the Cassandra engineers have put into it that I know you’re going to like. Watch for a separate blog on that soon…
