Getting started with Apache Cassandra

We get lots of inquiries from folks who are brand new to Apache Cassandra and are looking for help on getting started. If you’ve never used Cassandra, then you might be interested in a new getting started article I’ve posted that shows you how to download, install, and start working with Cassandra via CQL (the Cassandra Query Language) on either Linux or Mac. It’s obviously too basic for anyone who’s been using Cassandra for a while, but if you’re brand new and looking to get your feet wet for the first time, it’ll hopefully give you a jump start.
