Installation Quick Start¶
This section contains information for installing a single node evaluation cluster of DataStax Enterprise. For information about installing DataStax Enterprise on multiple nodes for production or development, see Installing a Mulitple Node Cluster.
Installing a Single Node Evaluation Cluster¶
There are two ways to install a single node cluster:
- Installing and Starting the DataStax Enterprise Binaries as Root: Use if you have root permissions or sudo.
- Installing and Starting the DataStax Enterprise Binaries as User: Use if you do not have root permissions or sudo.
Optional: Set up OpsCenter for a single node.
