DataStax Enterprise consists of three components:

DataStax Enterprise – Compare Editions

DataStax provides two great editions of its complete distribution for Cassandra:

DataStax Enterprise Edition: Provides a complete integrated database management platform for both real-time and analytic data, all powered by a certified version of Cassandra. Supplies workload management/isolation between real-time and analytic operations. Also includes the enterprise version of DataStax OpsCenter, full production support, and more.

DataStax Community Edition: Contains the latest version of the Cassandra database for real-time data management, plus a free version of DataStax OpsCenter. Not supported for production systems.
