Simply configure how many copies of your data you want in each data center, and Cassandra handles the rest – replicating your data for you.

Replication Factor and Replica Placement Strategy – Cassandra has integrated capabilities for fine-grained adjustment of the number and location of replicas at the data center and rack level.
Tunable Consistency Level – Cassandra provides tunable consistency levels that are specifically designed for scenarios with multiple data centers.
