Use JMX (StorageService-&gt;startNativeTransport()) to start it<br /> INFO 13:48:14,214 Binding thrift service to localhost/127.0.0.1:9160</p> <p>I am using the CQL3 via the Python dbapi lib, which appears to have support for native transport.</p> <p>My question is... is the native transport better? recommended? unstable/buggy/experimental? </p>
