My apologies. Email/url alerts for all events are now only available in the Enterprise edition of OpsCenter.

To clarify, events that show up in the Event Log should still be sent via email if you have your installation configured to do so. The Proactive Alerts feature of OpsCenter is what's only available in the Enterprise edition.

That is correct. Email alerts are only available in the Enterprise edition of OpsCenter. I recommend you check out our DataStax Enterprise for Startups program here: http://www.datastax.com/products/enterprise/startups

Let us know if you have any questions.

So, we've been testing OpsCenter Enterprise in our environment and had everything working perfectly including emailed alerts. When it became clear we couldn't afford the Enterprise support in this years budget, I installed Community edition on another server, using the same configuration. However, the system never seems to email the alerts anymore. Is is possible the Community edition has email disabled? Below is a copy of the emal.conf:

[email]
enabled=1
# levels can be comma delimited list of any of the following:
# DEBUG,INFO,WARN,ERROR,CRITICAL,ALERT
# If left empty, will listen for all levels
