I was able to run jobs on the data in Cassandra and everything was working fine. I am just trying this out on my local machine at the moment, so I am not dealing with any extra nodes. I did do a software update, but things were going wrong before that. Today I decided to reinstall Brisk in a different directory and no matter what I do when I try to do any of the following :</p> <p>brisk hive<br /> brisktool jobtracker<br /> brisktool movejt localhost</p> <p>I get :</p> <p>Error when fetching jobtracker address: org.apache.thrift.TApplicationException: Invalid method name: 'get_jobtracker_address'<br /> Unable to start job: jobtracker not found</p> <p>I am running java version:</p> <p>java version "1.6.0_26"<br /> Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_26-b03-384-10M3425)<br /> Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 20.1-b02-384, mixed mode)</p> <p>JAVA_HOME=/System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Home</p> <p>Anyone have an idea what my problem might be?
