We still have a task for updating that storage chart to reflect the actual data dirs. It isn't known exactly when that will be completed although https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CASSANDRA-2770 will make it much easier, so it may be after that is completed.

Regarding the elephant icon, often OpsCenter will start up and draw the nodes before it receives brisk version information from the agents. Usually restarting the UI should fix that problem and display the nodes with the icon.

Hey guys,

Looks like the Storage Capacity pie chart in the dashboard view of v1.2 still calculates the total space as ALL of the volumes on the Cassandra/Brisk nodes instead of just the data_files_directories and commitlog_directory.

So, using the total space across all volumes on the servers gives a wrong impression of how much storage space Cassandra actually has access to. Maybe some of the volumes are for backups only or other apps and will never be used by Cassandra.

Also, another note... our 4 brisk nodes in DC2 were started with "brisk cassandra -t", but we don't see the elephant logo icon for them in OpsCenter. The nodes are not actively running hive queries at the moment. Should we still see them detected as brisk nodes in Cassandra? Might there be something for us to check? Also, we're not using BriskSnitch here, so the brisk nodes are not in a logical datacenter named Brisk.
