Technically we have an API that can be used to grab all of that information. Right now there is no documentation for that, but we will be adding that in the relatively near future.

Thanks for responding:
Sorry to bother you, but i have another query related to metrics/data that is being collected by the OpsCenter. Is there any way/tool available to export the metrics/data being collected by the OpsCenter. Any pointers regarding the same would be really helpful.

Thanks,
Manoj Sharma

Manoj,

Right now that isn't something that is configurable. However, we are in the process of discussing what is best there, so you may see some changes in the next version of OpsCenter.

Hope that helps,
Mike

Hi,

I have a query related to customizing the Opscenter UI. In a ring view, instead of tokens representing the nodes, i want to configure node names(hostnames)

Thaks,

Udo,

The OpsCenter UI will run in your browser without any extra client installs (powered by html/css/javascript). There is an OpsCenter daemon that you install which serves the content for the UI and exposes a RESTful API that the UI connects to. This server/daemon must be able to talk with all of your Cassandra nodes on thrift and jmx ports.

Let us know if you any more questions.

Hi,

what technology is the OpsCenter graphical UI? Maybe I missed this information on http://www.datastax.com/products/opscenter.
Does it run in a browser or is it a rich-client application? Is it client-server based? What protocol does it use?
I'm just wondering how one can run a Cassandra cluster in data center (with only ssh & http access) and use OpsCenter from an office PC?

Thanks in advance and best Regards
Udo
