What linux distribution/version are you installing on? Also how did you install OpsCenter? Through a deb/rpm package or using the tarball?

FYI, changing the default python to 2.6 worked around the issue. I'm now able to run it. Side note, also needed to set webserver interface to 0.0.0.0 in opscenterd.conf.

That's what I thought, but python 2.6 is installed at /usr/bin/python2.6. Do I need to do something to force it to use that?

Edit: Other than changing the default version of Python that Ubuntu uses?

OpsCenter doesn't currently work with python2.7. It is something that will be supported in our next minor release though. If python2.6 can be found in /usr/bin/python2.6, and OpsCenter was installed after python2.6, it _should_ try to use that instead for the time being.
