Ah.. I see.. Ok thanks Bulman.
Since the node was restarted recently, It might take some time to replicate & fill it up.

The size of the node represents how much data the node is holding. It's possible the small node is not getting that data from the agent, or that your ring is actually unbalanced. You can verify in the "List View" under "Cluster".

I clicked on the Install agents on the UI, which got the agents back running. I guess the command does the same.

This question may sound silly, does the size of the node in the Ring View matter?? because one of the node looks very small, whereas the others look healthy, plump & green :)

It looks like the agent service is not registered to run on startup by default. We're going to work to fix this in a future version of OpsCenter.

In the meantime, if you run
update-rc.d opscenter-agent defaults
on each of your nodes, that should fix your issue.

If you installed the agent via an rpm/deb, it should start when the machine boots. If you installed via a tarball/manually, you will need to handle that process on your own.

INFO is just the default log level we use for opscenterd and the agents. If you'd like to change to DEBUG to get more information, you are more than welcome.

Yes, you were right. The agent in one of the node was down. Fixed it.
Wondering, what causes this to happen? Does restarting one of the node does not automatically start up the agent?

Also I noticed the conf file in the agent is set to INFO, Should it didn't set to DEBUG to catch more logging of failing nodes/Node reported as down?(This happened twice now :(

log4j.rootLogger=INFO,R

Thanks Bulman!

It sounds like either the agent or cassandra itself is down. Can you check the opscenterd.log and opscenter-agent.log for any errors?

I am not able to see "View replication" on one of the nodes in the Ring View.
I get this error message.

What needs to be fixed?

Thanks,
