Are there any scripts for adding/removing instances from Cassandra cluster

I've found good documentation describing adding/replacing nodes in Cassandra cluster.

http://www.datastax.com/docs/1.1/install/expand_ami

However, I'm wondering, if there are any scripts (for example for Amazon Command Line Tool) which automate anything from that steps?

Unfortunately there is nothing available except build-in tools shipped with Cassandra/DataStax Platform.
