This generally indicates a problem with the agents running on your cassandra machines. Have you installed them? Below the disk space pie chart you will see an indication of how many agents are successfully connected. What shows up there?
Same problem here.
The widget with the report on the storage capacity (upper right corner in the dashboard page) reports “5 of 5 nodes connected - waiting for data”, but nothing ever comes back.
I installed the opscenter-agent daemon on all the cluster nodes, following the MANUAL installation process described at http://opscenter.datastax.com/install.html#
All daemons seem to be properly configured (no obvious errors in /opt/opscenter/var/log/installer.log) , and all of them are running. There is never any log file in /opt/opscenter/var/log/opscenter-agent/, where I would have expected some logs.
Any idea what could be the issue?
If you can add and see data in the Performance section for a graph like "OS: Network Traffic", but not for "OS: Disk Usage", then this is a known issue with how we parse the output of df. If this is your problem, v1.2 of OpsCenter resolves this and will be available on July 11.
Yes, I can see in "Performance" a lot of things (Cluster Write Operations, Cluster Write Latency, OS Network Traffic, etc). They all seem fine, except Disk Usage.
Waiting for the patch then (or is there some simple hack for the time being?)
I am a bit concerned about this, because I think I have abnormally high space usage on several nodes due to Opscenter, and I wanted to keep things under supervision.
thanks in advance.
Unfortunately there is no quick workaround for this problem.
For reference, I've also answered your post about disk usage here: http://www.datastax.com/support-forums/topic/opscenter-space-usage?replies=2#post-278
