Hector keeps printing this message every 10 seconds in log file:
2011-11-09 00:02:26 INFO [pool-1-thread-1] me.prettyprint.cassandra.connection.CassandraHostRetryService#run(97) - Downed Host retry status true with host: cassandra01.test.com(172.29.120.67):9160
2011-11-09 00:02:27 INFO [pool-1-thread-1] me.prettyprint.cassandra.connection.HConnectionManager#addCassandraHost(115) - Host already existed for pool cassandra01.test.com(172.29.120.67):9160
We stopped Cassandra node, and restarted the node (just for testing if our applications can tolerate it). After that, these two messages keep showing up in log file, even though the node looks okay, and applications can access all nodes w/o problem.
No sure if it's safe to ignore these messages?
