I have just setup a fresh install of DSE, including a Hadoop, and loaded a not too large set of data to run some experiments with.
Launching "dse hive" works, but when I start a first query, I'm getting an error message:
hive> select count(1) from demo.products;
Total MapReduce jobs = 1
Launching Job 1 out of 1

java.io.IOException: Unable to connect to server localhost:9160
As this server is part of a Cassandra cluster, Cassandra is not configured to use 127.0.0.1, the IP address that localhost is typically linked to.
Is there a way to make hive connect to another IP address (the eth0 ip address of that box)?
