Lexical search support in Cassandra

   Does CQL or any Cassandra API available to support the lexical search (ie. something similar to 'LIKE' expression in SQL)?

   Not at this time. Given the complexity involved, it will likely not be on the roadmap for sometime.

   These types of filtering operations are best done on the client side in distributed systems. For reference, see the "Megastore" paper from Google, particularly sections 2 and 3 in regards to application design considerations:
