I'm running an AWS EC2 Amazon Linux 64-bit instance and am trying to get opscenter started.
When I try to run /etc/init.d/opscenterd start I get the stack trace.
Starting opscenterdTraceback (most recent call last):
File "./bin/twistd", line 25, in <module>
from twisted.scripts.twistd import run
ImportError: No module named twisted.scripts.twistd
So I added a set -x and an echo PYTHONPATH to /usr/share/opscenter/bin/opscenter to see what is actually running and I get this.
command that is run
/usr/bin/python2.6 ./bin/twistd -u 218 -g 496 --pidfile /var/run/opscenter/opscenterd.pid -oy bin/start_opscenter.py
I've tried to perform the installation based on http://www.datastax.com/docs/opscenter/install/install_rhel and it appears to install successfully. (opscenter-free-3.1.1-1.noarch.rpm)
I'm not a python guy, so I'm feeling my way through this.
