opscenter wont start after update or re install to 2.1

   Any help on what to do with this error?

   Installing : opscenter-free-2.1-2.noarch 1/1
   Restarting Cassandra cluster manager opscenterd
   Stopping opscenterd[FAILED]
   Starting opscenterdCould not find platform independent libraries <prefix>
   Could not find platform dependent libraries <exec_prefix>
   Consider setting $PYTHONHOME to <prefix>[:<exec_prefix>]
   ImportError: No module named site
   Could not find platform independent libraries <prefix>
   Could not find platform dependent libraries <exec_prefix>

   What happens when you run /sbin/service opscenterd start? Can you paste what shows up in /var/log/opscenter/opscenterd.log?

   Here is the output:

   Nothing shows in the log since I did yum update yesterday.

   It looks like you may have a bad installation of python somewhere on your system. Can you edit /usr/share/opscenter/bin/opscenter and add the following line at line 58 (just below the "exit 3" line and closing curly brace):

   echo "python exe: $PYTHON"

   After doing this, please try running sudo /sbin/service opscenterd start again and see which python executable it's using. Then, try running this and paste the results:

   <python_exe> -c 'import site; import platform; print platform.python_version()'

   Thanks, something wrong with the 2.7 python on the machine so I removed it from one of the pythonversion options in opcenter file and it started up.
