Hello,
Our Dev's are removing and recreating Keyspaces. We have 5 node and 7 node clusters. When they want to quickly remove a keyspace and then add it back in, the column families do not all populate or fails after the 5th family. Could there be a replicaiton issue where it takes time for the removal of the keyspace on all nodes before creation of the same keyspace name? If so, how long should they be waiting? Is this a known bug? We have tried on DSE 2.1 and DSC with cassandra 1.1.2

This is a known problem. It is going to be improved in Cassandra 1.2 (concurrent schema updates).

Ah, ok. I didn't know that one user removing and the same user adding back in the same keyspace name, after waiting some minutes after the removal of a keyspace was considered concurrent so, I didn't correlate this issue that you covered at the summit on version 1.2 I thought you guys meant truely concurent updates. I will update our Dev's.
