I have a table in Cassandra with the following schema;
CREATE TABLE tes (
current_owner text PRIMARY KEY,
I have loaded this table in pig using the Load 'Cql://keyspacename/tablename'. My objective is to create a pig relation which contain the values of geo_location and the count for each location it finds. For this, I created a pig relation which groups the data by geo_location; 'groupgeo = group data by geo_location'.
The count relation; cnt = foreach groupgeo generate $0, COUNT($1);
Dumping the cnt relation using 'dump cnt' displays the correct results.
Now my question is, how do I store the 'cnt' pig relation in a Cassandra table?
I have created a separate table in cassandra in the hope to store the 'cnt' pig relation but everytime it fails with the following message after running 'store cnt into ''cql://keyspace/cnt' using CqlStorage';
Message: Job failed! Error - # of failed Reduce Tasks exceeded allowed limit. FailedCount: 1. LastFailedTask: task_201309231427_0040_r_000000 cql://if/cnt,
Failed to read data from "cql://if/tes"
Failed to produce result in "cql://if/cnt"
Could someone please guide me as to what I'm doing wrong?
