   Does the current community version not include the token generator? Or is the documentation out of date?

   http://www.datastax.com/docs/1.1/initialize/token_generation

   This does not seem to be part of the apache-cassandra11 package.

   My apologies: the RPMs do not track the cassandra tarballs/debs as closely as they should, and this script got missed. It will be fixed in 1.1.8.
