Hi,
I just upgrade our free version of OpsCenter to the last version.
I had some presets in the performance (metrics) section. They are still there but all the presets made using CF-metrics on all nodes are unreachable. I got the following error instead : "Error loading preset: Cannot read property '0' of null"
I couldn't find anything more on log files.
We use community C* 1.1.6 (with AMI 2.4) FWIW.
Do I have to redo all these presets (We got about 35 CF...) ?
When do you see that error? Is it when you click the preset to load it? Do any of the presets without CF-metrics work?
If you can look in the javascript console of your browser, there should be some more info about the error. Go ahead and paste whatever you can here. If you're using Chrome, you can find the JavaScript Console under "Tools". If you're using Firefox, you can find it under Tools -> Web Developer -> Web Console.

AFAIK yes. It seems that all the other presets are working fine.

I also have this line when first loading opscenter:
GET http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8888/Cassandra_Cluster/ops/rebalance-running 403 (Forbidden)
But I guess it doesn't really matter since in the free opscenter version the "rebalance cluster" feature is unavailable.
Let me know if you need more information.
When did you first see the error? Is it when you first load OpsCenter in a browser, or is it only when you load that particular preset in the Performance section?
Are you able to create new presets that use cf metrics and load them in the latest version of OpsCenter?

The error appears when I try to load a preset that contains a CF metric created with OpsCenter 2.1.2, at this exact moment, as told before.
I created a new preset similar to the old ones and there is no issue, I can access it without a bug so far.

I saw this difference :
column=CF%3Astats_ad_uv (The only metrics with CF that works)
column=CF:algo_ad_newcapping (One of the none working metrics)
It looks like an encoding problem. Well you'll tell me :).

You are correct that it is an encoding issue. We now uri encode the names of presets, and it looks like presets that were saved unencoded, like yours with cf metrics, now no longer load.
A possible workaround is to uri encode the preset name in the settings row, or you can create new presets.
I have filed an ticket to address this issue.
