Video: Data Modeling Workshop from Cassandra SF 2011

With the continual flow of developers from a traditional SQL environment, data modeling remains one of the most requested topics for support — in both the Cassandra IRC channel and the Cassandra mailing list. There is a wealth of beginning tutorials and videos for data modeling with Cassandra, but few real world case studies.

To remedy this, we invited Matthew Dennis to host a data modeling workshop at this year’s Cassandra SF 2011. Matthew covers several of the most popular and oft-requested scenarios — including how to model for clickstream data. The slides from Matthew’s workshop are here. For those of you who were unable to attend Cassandra SF, we provide the video of the workshop (below).
