Cassandra 1.0, the cloud, and the future of Big Data

Apache Cassandra
has come a long way since I first started writing about it at Rackspace. Since then, I started DataStax to commercialize Cassandra, we’ve had six major releases, run not one but two summits with hundreds of attendees, and now we’re about to release Cassandra 1.0 on October 8.
