Announcing the DataStax MVP Program

By Lynn BenderJuly 22, 2012

The Cassandra Summit 2012 is fast approaching and it will be another record year for attendance. The community has grown greatly over the last year and so, for the first time we will be announcing our DataStax MVP Program for Apache Cassandra. This program is designed to recognize key individuals who have gone above and beyond to help the Cassandra community learn about and utilize the only massively scalable NoSQL database.

The MVP Program will provide selected individuals with the opportunity to: write articles and whitepapers, speak with press, analysts and industry thought leaders, to present both online in webinars and at key events, to blog as an official MVP, and enjoy recognition amongst their community peers. This recognition will provide a key differentiator in career development in this exciting market. The MVP designation will be awarded on an annual basis and is open to anyone except current employees of DataStax and any other third party Cassandra-centric companies.

Here is the link to nominate or apply for the MVP Program:

We have already received a lot of nominations, and the nominating committee will start going through the nominees through this week, so there is still time to nominate yourself or someone else you feel deserves to become an MVP, so don’t be shy… apply!
