DBA's Guide to NoSQL

  1. Thomas O'Sullivan says:

I am trying to duplicate the install of DSC on Ubuntu from your online training module 14 of your on-line training.
    I am. at the step:
    sudo apt-get install dsc20.

    The message I get is:
    Reading package lists… Done
    Building dependency tree
    Reading state information… Done
E: Unable to locate package dsc20

    The previous step was:
    curl –L | sudo apt-key add –
    however message returned was:
gpg: no valid openPGP data found
I assumed this meant there was no key needed.
How do I apt-get install dsc?
    PS training was well done!!

  2. Thomas O'Sullivan says:

on your online training module for installing java on Ubuntu, you download and install java jdk1.7.0_45.

    yet in your documentation:
    you state:
Oracle Java SE Runtime Environment (JRE) 6. Java 7 is not recommended.
    What is correct?

  3. Rene Sandoval says:
