This online session will offer a hands-on experience that will cover the fundamentals of Apache Cassandra as well as how to simplify Cassandra application development using DataStax Astra, our Cassandra-as-a-Service offering. During this workshop, attendees will learn about topics such as:

  • Key architecture principles to identify proper use cases that fit this tool
  • Practical data modeling expertise to get the most out of Cassandra
  • Experience using Cassandra Query Language (CQL) for the most typical operations
  • Personalized online interaction with Cassandra experts

You will not need to install anything prior to the workshop, or even during the workshop.

We recommend either Firefox or Chrome browser. VPN software should allow for unrestricted access to web sites via HTTP and HTTPS.
