Welcome to our Application Development Bootcamp where we will take another step in your application development journey, showing you how to build applications all underpinned by Apache Cassandra, the NoSQL database for scalable applications.

This session looks at how to effectively design a data model for your full-stack application. You’ll leave knowing how to create data models that scale effectively as your system grows - meaning your users get the experience they deserve! From this session, you can expect to:

Get hands-on experience with Cassandra Query Language (CQL) on your own cluster
Learn how to model your data to your queries
Put all this into practice and work through an example application data model

You will be using DataStax Astra - a free to use, cloud-native scalable Database-as-a-Service built on Apache Cassandra. No install required.
