We pride ourselves in responding to every application even if you are not a fit we won’t leave you wondering.


Interviews and Assessment

Our interview process typically consists of 5-6 discussions including a conversation with the recruiter, a conversation with a coach, a values interview, an exercise/assessment, and meeting with potential team members at our offices. You should finish the process with a great understanding of both the position and DataStax as a company.



When we are ready to make an offer, recruiting will reach out to discuss our compensation philosophy. If you accept our offer (via DocuSign) you will be asked to complete a background check and our onboarding team will connect to get you ready for your start date.



Your onboarding will start on day one where you and the other new Staxers will gather virtually to learn all about the company and what we do. Your onboarding is not just day one - you will be asked throughout the next few weeks how your learning and onboarding is going. It’s critical to us that everyone has a quick and comprehensive onboarding experience.
