There is plenty of advice for how to set up and manage Apache Cassandra on AWS – however, that still does not prevent people from doing the wrong things! This session is based on our experience managing production Cassandra environments on the cloud, and AWS in particular. We will cover how NOT to set up clusters, replication, repair, backups, monitoring and alerting, etc.
