<h2>DataStax Accelerate is the world’s premier Apache Cassandra conference.</h2>

<p>With an <a href="/accelerate/keynotes-and-sessions-2019">exciting and action-packed Accelerate 2019</a>, we’re thrilled to announce that Accelerate is expanding to two events next year!</p>

<p>Earlier this year, we announced that Accelerate would take place in San Diego, May 11–13, 2020. Today, we’re announcing that an additional Accelerate event will be held in London just a few weeks later on June 2–3.</p>

<p>We couldn’t be more excited to share this news and hope to see our friends who can’t make it to San Diego at <a href="/accelerate">Accelerate London</a>!</p>

<h2>Why Attend Accelerate London</h2>

<p>Accelerate brings together Cassandra enthusiasts from all walks of life—including developers, database architects, cloud architects, executives, and other managers—to share ideas, discuss best practices, and talk about the future.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Attendees get to network with like-minded individuals. And they also get to peek behind the curtain to see how some of today’s leading organizations are using Cassandra to change the world. Last year companies such as <a href="/resources/video/datastax-accelerate-2019-managing-400-billion-requests-zero-downtime-turbotax">Intuit</a>, <a href="/resources/video/datastax-accelerate-2019-solving-optimal-data-placement-instagrams-global-scale">Instagram</a>, and <a href="/resources/video/datastax-accelerate-2019-streaming-cassandra-kafka">Yelp</a> shared their best practices and lessons learned, and we expect more of the same this year.</p>

<p>In addition to learning more about Cassandra and DataStax Enterprise, attendees will also learn about Graph and Analytics as well as how technologies such as Kubernetes and Kafka are helping companies build even more powerful Cassandra-based applications.</p>

<h2>CFPs Now Open for Accelerate San Diego and London</h2>

<p>At Accelerate 2019, we had several keynotes. We also had more than 70 technical breakout sessions that covered everything from application development and deployment options to Cassandra 4.0 and more.</p>

<p>Are you interested in speaking at Accelerate 2020? Not only is presenting a great move for your career (it’s an impressive notch on your resume), it’s also great for the open source Cassandra community that’s eager to learn from your experience.</p>
