The expansion into China reinforces DataStax’s commitment to the APAC market and to meeting increasing demand from enterprises who are deploying real-time data at global scale. To support the expansion, <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/dongminglu/">Tom Lu</a>, an IT veteran with 30 years of experience in providing enterprise data solutions to businesses in greater China, has joined DataStax as the regional general manager. Prior to joining DataStax, Lu held various leadership positions including senior vice president at GDS, Dynamics BG Lead for Microsoft China, planning director at Huawei Gauss DB, and he was the chief technology officer of Sybase China.
